About Us

The Shippers Council of Eastern Africa (SCEA) is a Private Sector membership based organization representing the interests of importers, exporters, and other stakeholders in the logistics and shipping industries across Eastern Africa. Established in 2006, SCEA’s mandate is to advocate for policies that enhance trade facilitation, with a view to reducing the unnecessary trade logistics costs, as well as improving supply chain efficiency in the region.
