SCEA participated in the validation workshop for the Draft Constitution of the Federation of Eastern, Southern, and Northern Africa Shippers Councils, held on the 15th and 16th of August 2024 in Mombasa. The Draft Constitution was developed under the auspices of the Maritime Organization for Eastern, Southern, and Northern Africa (MOESNA).
The meeting highlighted the importance of continuous learning, sharing of experiences, and exchanging information among Shippers Councils. Enhanced collaboration within MOESNA’s platform was emphasized, with a focus on establishing a cooperative framework among National Shippers Councils to improve effeciency in the logistics chain,.
