On 19th September 2024, the Shippers Council of Eastern Africa (SCEA), led by our Chair of the Advocacy Committee, Mr. Auni Bhaiji, held a structured engagement with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) team, led by Ms. Laura Chao, Chief Manager of Trade Facilitation, KRA.
The discussion highlighted challenges in Bond processing, Inactive bond and execution, Transit good, refund and issue with alerts and notifications that affect the trade environment.
